Since the first event in 1970, INTERFORST is a symbol of innovations in the field of forest technology. Once again progress and growth were central keywords at the 11th edition of the fair.

INTERFORST distinguishes itself by the fact that its role has always been to present both the forestry “hardware” and the associated “software” such as process engineering, work organization and technical management.

At INTERFORST 2010, 413 exhibitors from 24 countries occupied 68,405 m² gross exhibition space. 49,952 visitors from 80 countries came to the trade fair. During the times of globalisation a clear trend towards a more international mix is apparent also in the forestry sector, substantiated by the fact that the number of exhibitors and visitors from abroad has increased compared to 2006. INTERFORST is a fair which always is on the pulse of the time .
